Dr James DDSHello

As far as i know but not so sure, depending maybe on what country you are from you may have to enrol in to an accredited dental school for a QUALIFYFING PROGRAM that is usually 2 years long. See either www.ada.org or www.cda-adc.ca.

Dr. From MexicoHi, I'm a Dentist from Mexico I allready past tha National Board part 1, and I'll apply for the part 2 soon, I'm postgraduate in periodontics and had completed a peer practicum implant dentistry.

I would like to work in USA, but I has not money to enroll in a course of two years for 80,000 dlls aprox.

I understant that the TLCAN since january first 2004, open the opportunities to foreign profesionals to work in USA, If some one has information about that, plase let me know.

Thank you.

Dr. Joseph ChenHi,
I was a dentist from China and have read the pre-released version of a new book for foreign trained dentists because I was asked for my feedback and comments. I went to NYU 3 years ago for the international dental program. I would recommend the book at www.foreigntraineddentists.com - it has all of the information you need. Good Luck, Joseph

CyrusThere is an opportunity available for dentists who have received their dental education outside of the United States (US) and would like to immigrate and practice in the US.
University of LaSalle in Leon, Mexico, is the only none American university offering an accredited 24-month International Dental Studies (IDS) Program. Completion of the IDS program will result in a California accredited dental diploma, allowing the individual to participate in the licensing process in the State of California.
Also there is a financial company, named Miner Financial Company which provide a complete loan package for eligible applicants covers almost 90% of all costs including tuition, room and board, books and instruments and even exams.
A Miner affiliate company offers students to come and work in dental practices in US, after their graduation. Work permit and immigration visas will be provided for the dentists and their immediate family (spouse and children) after the International IDS Program graduation. For more information please visit this web site: http://www.minerfinancialcompany.com
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send me email to cyruss80@gmail.com
Thank you. Best Regards,
Cyrus
